Alliant Event Services, Inc. is named the official AV provider for MPI event.

San Diego - January 21, 2005 - Meeting Professionals International (MPI  www.mpiweb.org) awarded Alliant Event Services, Inc. (www.alliantevents.com) the official audio visual vendor status for the Professional Education Conference, North America (PEC NA) held in San Diego California, January 21-25, 2005.  The now successfully completed project included between 45 to 60 breakout meeting rooms daily, on the air live television and video work, general sessions, tradeshow exhibitor support and total administration support.  The lead breakout room and special session planner, Debra Lakin of MPI, stated "no other AV company has supported us (MPI) as well as you (Alliant Event Services) have".  Debra continued by saying "under difficult circumstances, Alliant Event Services has really performed extremely well", as Debra referenced significant last minute additions and changes to the scope of the project and session presenter's late needs and support requirements.

Andy Bowman, Vice President of Alliant Event Services, commended the around the clock dedication work performance by the Alliant Events operations AV team, saying "Matt Woods and Ray Farr are the leaders that make Alliant Event Services a growing industry leader".  The operations team managed 400 plus pages of BEO's  (Banquet Equipment Orders) and prepared support to the nearly 300 exhibitors and general sessions.  Andy stated "the successful support of the extra-ordinary demands of MPI during the PEC NA event are proof that only a direct supplier of all the AV gear and technical staff could perform", and saying in reference that over 90% of the AV gear supplied is owned and stocked by Alliant Event Services "it would be difficult to believe any other company could perform so well without the qualified staff and up to date AV gear".
