Alliant Event Services, Inc. – Open House is a Big Success

Pomona, CA - Oct 14, 2004 -  Alliant Event Services, Inc. (AES), a nationwide audio, visual, lighting, staging and computer rental services company, established since 1984, hosted their “First Annual Meeting and Event Planners Gala” at their corporate headquarters in Pomona, CA.  Recently, AES has taken giant leaps in their mission to expand by relocating their corporate office to a 35,000 sq. ft. facility and purchasing millions of dollars of new inventory.

The purpose of the event was not only to show current and potential clients the new facility, but also to demonstrate the company's potential as a  large-scale audio, video, lighting and computer rental company.  A team of project managers and technicians designed and recreated a 4500 sq. ft., banquet room style general session, in the middle of the warehouse. The space consisted of large screen projection, video wall, flat panel monitors, plasma screens, a concert sound system, intelligent lighting, trussing, and a wireless network of laptops for guests to check their email since the gala was held during normal business hours. “We thought by creating a smaller scale replica of a conference or ballroom type setting full of the technology that we offer, we could better impress upon our clients the true capabilities of our company," said Dave Dahya, CEO and president of Alliant Event Services.  While enjoying champagne and sushi,  guests were greeted by Alliants’ management team and each given a custom tour of the facility and operations.  Account representatives and a show crew consisting of a technical director, audio engineer, and lighting designer were also available to answer all of the guest's questions and give recommendations for future potential business.   As a parting token of appreciation, each guest was given a gift bag with a Palm Pilot and stainless steel thermal travel mug.
