In Atlanta contract called to deliver and setup 25 computers and to network them together. At the hub, we were to plug into the hotel's ISP. The Atlanta technicians successfully completed the networking and setup on time.

At about 6pm that evening, we received our first service call from the client stating that hackers had attacked all 25 machines and installed a virus. The client was in panic mode as their class was scheduled to start the next morning at 8am sharp. The AES Branch Manager talked the client through the anti-virus program process and successfully removed the virus from all machines in less than an hour.

About an hour later (7pm), we received another call from the client stating that all 25 computers were hacked again! More viruses installed on all machines. Our techs called the ISP directly and identified that they provided no firewall protection. The hackers obviously knew that and continually scanned the hotels ISP for activity. AES had the solution and explained to the client that our Tech’s could install a router at each Internet point. This would provide a firewall for all the computers hooked into each router. The AES Technicians arrived on site within 1 hour and installed the routers with firewall protection applications, re-ran the anti-virus programs and cleaned all machines. By 9:30pm, the client was 100% satisfied and protected from future attacks.

The next morning the AES Branch Manager contacted the client before their training class started to confirm all was good. The client stated that there had been no more hacker attacks and that everything was running smoothly. They were extremely happy. When our team arrived later that day to pickup the machines, the client and the AES Branch Manager discussed future PC protection options, and also informed the other AES branches of the issues.
