The Field
Support
Technician is
responsible for
the delivery,
pickup and
installation of
PCs to local and
remote
locations.
Technicians may
travel to other
conventions or
conferences
anywhere in the
US, but most
travel will be
within an
assigned region.
In most cases,
technicians stay
on site to
maintain the
equipment. Trips
may last
anywhere up to
two weeks and
some workdays
will require
long hours.
Other job
responsibilities
will include:
System
troubleshooting
Equipment
disassembly
and
configuration
Equipment
refurbishment
and
cleaning
Trade
show
installation
and
support
Assisting
clients
with
new
software
and
equipment
problems.
Job
Requirements:
Customer
service
experience
Excited
about
traveling
up
to
75%
At
least
21
years
of
age
and
possess
a
valid
driver’s
license
with
no
more
than
3
moving
violations
and
no
alcohol
violations
Willing
to
earn
a
class
B
license
(6
wheels)
at
our
expense
Basic
PC
skills/knowledge
Excellent
communication
skills
Able
to
lift
50-80
lbs
